Summer time is here! Enjoy what Linn County has to offer this summer with four County campgrounds, fifteen day-use areas, several boat ramps, a covered bridge and a historical museum. Following is a description of our overnight camping facilities. Please call the numbers listed for reservations and more information regarding additional County Parks and recreational opportunities. Sunnyside County Park

Sunnyside County Park is located on the shores of Foster Reservoir just east of Sweet Home, off of Hwy. 20 and Quartzville Rd. Camping, fishing and water skiing are just a few of the activities that make this 98 acre park a very popular recreation site in The Willamette Valley. The campground is open from April to November and offers electrical/water hookups, a dump station and restroom/shower facilities. There are 165 campsites available; 130 have hookups, including 2 ADA accessible sites. An additional 27 sites are available for group camping reservations.

Day use facilities are open year round and include a boat ramp, moorage, play ground, picnic areas, and a reservable shelter and picnic ring with kitchenettes.

Whitcomb Creek County Park

Whitcomb Creek County Park is located on the forested shores of Green Peter Reservoir east of Sweet Home. Travel about 15 miles up Quartzville Rd. to enjoy the spectacular canyon views, sailing, fishing and water skiing. The campground is open from mid-April through mid-October and offers 39 campsites plus an overflow camping area. Potable water is available in the park, but there are no RV hookups. A camp host is usually on site from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend.

Waterloo County Park

From I-5, take the Hwy. 20 exit east through Lebanon. Waterloo County Park is located 5 miles east of Lebanon off of Hwy. 20 in the town of Waterloo. This pleasant park on the banks of the South Santiam River provides families with a great opportunity to fish, hike, swim and relax within its shady confines. This campground is open year round offering electrical/water hookups, a dump station, shower facilities and a picnic shelter. Of the 120 campsites available, 100 have power and water hookups, including 4 ADA accessible sites.

John Neal Memorial Park
John Neal Memorial Park is located on the North Santiam River in the City of Lyons. Fishing and floating on the wild waters are the main attraction here, along with searching for the abundant wildlife on trails which whine through wetlands and beaver ponds. The campground is open from mid-April through mid-October and offers 40 campsites. Potable water is available in the park, but there are no RV hookups. A camp host is usually on site from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend.
