Sign-ups for the Sweet Home Mat Club will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 2-3, at the Sweet Home High School Wrestling Room in the Main Gym.

First practices will be held Nov. 5 and 6 during the first week, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Thereafter, practices for kindergarteners through second-graders will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays through Dec. 7.

Third- through sixth-graders will practice from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through Jan. 16.

Cost is $40 per child for kindergarteners through second-graders and $50 per wrestler for third- through sixth-graders. The maximum fee per family is $90.

Registration costs do not include the USA Wrestling Federation Card, which costs $35 and is required to participate in tournaments.

Organizers emphasize that:

n Financial arrangements can be made for participation by those who have problems affording the fees.

n The club is a kid-focused experience and is not daycare.
