Alisha Huschka, leads new inductees into the National Honor Society in the recitation of the NHS pledge during a ceremony held Monday in the Sweet Home High School Library. Members pledge to pursue scholarship, service, leadership, character and citizenship. A total of 23 students – three seniors, 18 juniors and two sophomores, who are honorary inductees as last year’s Freshman Boy and Girl of the Year, joined the society. The ceremony included a charage to the students from Principal Pat Stineff, as well as charges from senior members Huschka, Hillary McCartin, Natasha Perry and TJ Sipe, who served as emcee.
