Milton K. Daily, 81, of Sweet Home died at Corvallis Manor on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010.

He was born on March 21, 1928 in Wagner, S.D., to Leon H. Daily and Laura Petrick Daily

His family moved to Lebanon in 1943.

He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1948 and worked in the lumber industry for 32 years.

He loved fishing, going to Eastern Oregon, long trips to the coast and camping.

He was baptized in 1956 and was a faithful witness for Jehovah until this month when he could no longer speak.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jackie; daughter, Peggy of Sweet Home; sons Rick and Dennis of Lebanon; brothers Duane Daily of Lebanon and Douglas Daily of Sodaville; sisters, Jackie Daily of Los Angeles and Sheri Daily of Paso Robles, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; many sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son David of Albany. David left a wife, Melissa, and three children. He also was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Laura Daily, and brother Donald Daily of Sodaville.

Memorial services were held Feb. 20 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
