Sportsman’s Holiday Court Princess Brook Womack’s goal as a court member is to serve as an ambassador for Sweet Home.
Womack, 17, is one of four court members; the others are Taylor Goodwin, Makayla Griffin and Collette Valentine.
Womack is the daughter of Steven and Katrina Womack. She has a younger sister, Bailey.
She has lived in Sweet Home her entire life.
“I absolutely love it. I couldn’t imagine a better place to live.”
Womack will be a senior in the fall at Sweet Home High School. After graduation, she plans to attend Brigham Young University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
She enjoys photography and playing golf. She has played on the varsity golf team and has been a member of the swim team throughout her high school career. She is also in the Josai Club foreign exchange program, Class Board, and volunteers as a statistician and organizer at Sweet Home Mat Club and Junior High wrestling tournaments.
Womack says she decided to join the court “because I thought it would be a great opportunity to get to know my community and to be a great role model for the children of Sweet Home.”
She said her favorite event in Sportsman’s Holiday has been the Saturday evening fireworks display.
“All of the amazing colors bouncing across the lake and all of the families having a great time watching it just shows how beautiful and amazing Sweet Home can be.”
She said being a princess gives her a chance to “make a difference in people’s lives.”
“I can make sure that the Sportsman’s Holiday festivities are fun for the whole family.”
