Ayden Marin, a first-grader, left, and kindergartener Ty Jewell observe as their balloon-powered cars race away while Daisy Lalonde, fifth grade, works on her spring-powered rig during Holley School's science fair Thursday. The students all helped cover the walls of the Holley gym with art depicting scene from Pacific Northwest oceans. Staff created a giant orca, while each grade made art focused on different ocean creatures, including salmon, octupus, tide-pool critters, jellyfish, and crabs. The sixth grade researched and developed posters to explain the exhibit.
