A SHERIFF'S marine deputy sprays water on a burning boat near the docks at Sunnyside Park Sunday afternoon. The fire was reported at 1:57 p.m. Sunday. SHFAD Batallion Chief Randy Whitfield said the1992 18-foot Bayliner Capri caught fire, probably due to an intake problem in the engine compartment. The occupants jumped out onto the dock, but the burning craft was threatening others moored nearby, so they cut it loose. "By the time we got there, there wasn't much left," he said. The craft was retied to the dock later, where it sank.
