The Oregon Electric Railroad depot, constructed in the early 1930s, has been moved twice in an 80-year period. The dilapidated structure now sits at the Public Works Yard atop land earmarked for an access road to Linn County's proposed RV fill/dump station and a homeless facility. It must be relocated again in the next 30 to 60 days or face possible demolition. Public Works Director Greg Springman stands near a white line to indicate how far the road is expected to extend in width.
