4:05 a.m. - Jeffrey Michael Clark, 43, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Eugene.

10:51 a.m. - Caller reported an injured deer, Highway 20 near western city limits. Officer responded. Animal expired prior to arrival.

11:07 a.m. - Eric Daniel Grimm, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, 18th near the Bus Barn. Cited and released.

12:38 p.m. - Christina Marcella Marr, 28, taken into custody on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mistreatment and charged with possession of meth and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Cited and released.

1:42 p.m. - Caller reported that someone broke into his vehicle and stole a firearm, knives and custom pool cues, 1000 block of Long.

Aug. 24

8:08 a.m. - James Eugene Richards, 20, arrested on Linn County detention order, owes seven days in jail, and on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1255 Linden Court. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:09 a.m. - Caller reported a deer had been hit on the road and a fawn was still alive, Highway 20 near Wiley Creek. Officer responded and found the fawn was also injured. Fawn dispatched and message sent to Public Works for disposal.

12:47 p.m. - David Paul Gruewell, 47, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Highway 20 Church of Christ. Cited and released.

3:23 p.m. - Jody Lawrence Maruffo, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, 1661 Elm St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:48 p.m. - Kristina Anne Ferrell, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1890 Kalmia St. Cited and released.

7:01 p.m. - Ronald Cleve Ford, 47, arrested for harassment (domestic violence) and second-degree disorderly conduct, 12th and Nandina. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:31 p.m. - Caller reported that someone fired a gun from a passing vehicle, Sweet Home area. Oregon State Police located the vehicle at River Bend Park. The vehicle had engine trouble and repeatedly backfired. No further action.

10:11 p.m. - Billy Don Passmore, 29, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear, Third and Holley. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Aug. 23

7:33 a.m. - Patrick Lee McNees, 19, arrested for violation of release agreement and second-degree criminal mischief, 769 Birch St. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a window broken out of van. Damage approximately $100.

8:34 a.m. - Caller reported unauthorized posting of sign, 3500 block of Juniper. Referred to code enforcement.

9:19 a.m. - Caller located two debit cards in a vehicle he purchased from a local tow company, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Placed in property.

9:31 a.m. - Caller reported about $100 in items stolen from her porch during the night, 3500 block of Juniper. Report taken.

9:39 a.m. - Caller reported the theft of a boat motor worth $100, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Report taken.

10:24 a.m. - Caller reported two trailers parked in the area for an extended period of time. One appeared to be full of trash and the other leaking, 40th and Laurel. Referred to code enforcement.

1:10 p.m. - Caller reported posting of unauthorized sign, Pleasant Valley and Main. Referred to code enforcement.

3:37 p.m. - Amie Jill Ferdani, 34, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to comply, behind All-Star Pizza. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male and female verbally fighting.

4:01 p.m. - Caller reported unauthorized posting of signage, Pleasant Valley and Main. Referred to code enforcement.

4:04 p.m. - Caller reported unauthorized posting of signage, 1200 block of First. Referred to code enforcement.

4:06 a.m. - Caller reported running over a downed power line, 1500 block of Tamarack. Officer responded and found a tree down. Officer assisted until fire department arrived.

9:55 a.m. - Lea Mariah Knight, 22, cited for speeding, 39-25, 1100 block of First.

12:48 p.m. - Ericka Summer Hathaway, 27, cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, 10th and Cedar.

1:54 p.m. - Caller reported the theft of a cedar gate, 900 block of Seventh. Information noted.

2:51 p.m. - Caller reported a backpack left near Key Bank drive-through, 1199 10th Ave. Officer responded. Nothing suspicious. Seized backpack.

3:15 p.m. - Patrick Lee McNees, 19, arrested for harassment (domestic violence) and interfering with making a report, 769 Birch St. Cited and released.

3:35 p.m. - Caller reported receiving a bill for a credit card he did not open, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Officer provided caller with information to contact the Federal Trade Commission and other fraud reporting departments.

3:40 p.m. - Caller purchased a motor from cragislist.com and sent a check via Western Union, but he has not received the motor and believes he was scammed, 1200 block of Second. He contacted the local police department in California and was told to file a report in Sweet Home. Report taken. Sweet Home officer would contact Hayward, Calif., Police Department.

4:19 p.m. - Cassie Marie Taylor, 20, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 15th and Nandina. Caller had reported a female yelling at others in the area and “flashing” two children.

5:10 p.m. - Caller reported furnishings and garbage strewn throughout the yard, 2300 block of Cedar. Referred to code enforcement.

5:20 p.m. - Unauthorized posting of signage, 1700 block of Tamarack. Referred to code enforcement.

6:04 p.m. - Caller reported that a resident has garbage stacked high in a trailer, and it is starting to smell bad, 1200 block of 40th. Referred to code enforcement.

8:24 p.m. - Brandon Ryan Freeman, 19, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park.

7:24 a.m. - Caller reported the theft of son’s bicycle valued at $99 from the driveway during the night, 1300 block of Meadowlark. Report taken.

10:23 p.m. - Caller reported the theft of three rifles and ammo worth $3,500 from his home, 1200 block of 41st. Report taken.

9:40 a.m. - Stephen Anthony Schmidt, 31, arrested on state warrant for parole violation and Corvallis warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and charged with providing false information to a police officer, 49th and Mimosa. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:14 p.m. - Caller reported the theft of a refrigerator and stove worth $350, 3224 Main St., South Fork Mobile Home Park. Report taken.

3:16 p.m. - Caller reported that loaded logging trucks have been using First Avenue between highways 228 and 20, but the road is posted “no trucks.”

4:22 p.m. - Caller reported an RV in the roadway, 3100 block of Foothills. Referred to code enforcement.

6:26 p.m. - Jack Herring, 82, arrested for driving under the influence, two counts of hit and run with property damage and reckless driving, 1400 block of Strawberry Ridge. Cited and released. Caller had reported an erratic driver running over a mailbox and hitting a fire hydrant and telephone pole.

7:13 p.m. - Refrigerator reported stolen, 6100 block of Highway 20. Report taken.

Aug. 18

3:32 p.m. - Caller reported the theft of a utility trailer loaded with camping gear and bikes, 40800 block of McDowell Creek, Bates Bridge. Trailer recovered just up the road and Gerald Dunnigan-Kohl, 28, arrested for first-degree theft.

Aug. 17

9:17 a.m. - Thomas Herb cited and released for second-degree theft, 47700 block of Quartzville. Caller had reported a couple of fishing poles stolen from his boat, Whitcomb Creek Park. One of two poles recovered.

Aug. 15

12:35 p.m. - Caller reported someone destroyed her mailbox, apparently with low-level fireworks, 800 block of 50th. Report taken.
