Marge Lillich of Sweet Home examines native American instruments provided and demonstrated by Kiamichi, who was on hand to discuss Choctaw heritage at the 34th Annual Genealogical Workshop held at the Sweet Home Genealogical Society library on March 15. The two-day workshop featured sessions on the Civil War, ships and immigration, led by Duane Funk, Cherokee heritage led by Sue Chenoweth, and a round table discussion on genealogy. Also, Fred Schafer, Frank Farmer, Gary Smith and Gale Seifert of the National Association of Atomic Veterans discussed their organization and its mission. About...
