Perez pleaded guilty to the charges on Jan. 4. Charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance in Schedule II were dismissed.

For felon in possession of a firearm, Perez will serve 30 days in prison with credit for time served. He was fined $200.

During the Nov. 6 investigation, detectives seized methamphetamine, scales, a firearm, restricted weapons, cash and drug paraphernalia, said Police Chief Jeff Lynn. Police opened an investigation due to reported drug sales by Perez.
