March 28

2:41 a.m. - Breanna Marie Mansell, 22, cited and released in field on an Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1900 block of Main.

March 27

1:06 a.m. - Justin Ray Gomez, 24, and Kaytlin Michelle Hurt, 23, charged for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1237 Nandina St. Multiple callers had reported a large fight in the area.

8:46 a.m. - David Paul Gruwell, 49, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 4900 block of Main.

9:07 a.m. - Scott Lawrence Heinz, 53, cited and released in field on Linn county warrant for contempt of court, 15th and Main.

10:17 a.m. - Caller reported third-party information that drugs are being taken from patients, 900 block of Nandina. Investigation continuing.

10:47 a.m. - Caller reported that someone smashed the electrical box on the caller’s shop, 1800 block of Yucca. Report taken. Stolen cameras worth $300.

12:20 p.m. - Caller reported a neighbor’s dog running loose, attacking the caller’s dog and then biting her son when he tried to separate them, 300 block of 17th. Report taken. No medical attention needed. Owners were not home, but officer would attempt to contact them later.

12:58 p.m. - Caller reported the theft of of a license plate from the caller’s Jeep, 4900 block of Mimosa. Report taken.

2:16 p.m. - Caller reported that a male subject threatened the attendant when the attendant refused to fill his car because of a lit cigarette in the car’s ash tray, 890 Main St., Towne Pump. Information noted.

4:45 p.m. - Rebecca Marlene Young, 26, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

6:01 p.m. - Caller reported a neighbor’s dog has been howling and barking for around six hours while tied on a short rope, 900 block of 13th. Officer contacted owners and advised them of the complaint. They will make sure there are no obstacles to tangle up the dog.

6:23 p.m. - Scott Kevin Heinz, 28, cited and released in the field on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation on original charge of failure to appear, Juniper and Mountain View.

8:05 p.m. - Daniel Eugene McCarty, 56, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of driving under the influence and driving while revoked, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

9:25 p.m. - Ronald Thomas Companion, 47, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation, Shea Point. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:13 a.m. - Dwaine Allen Copeland, 53, cited for driving while suspended, 600 block of Main.

12:50 a.m. - Dillon Lee Cain, 28, arrested for possession of meth, failure to register as a sex offender and first-degree theft by receiving and on a statewide Parole Board warrant for absconding on a sex offense, 800 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:17 a.m. - Raymond Wane Littell, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree forgery and negotiating a bad check and cited on a Linn County warrant for unauthorized departure, 2200 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:44 p.m. - Hailee Jo Smith-Daggett, arrested on Linn County warrants for two counts of possession of meth, failure to appear on a citation, second-degree criminal trespass and contempt of court; Lebanon warrants for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and contempt of court on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass; and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 12th and railroad tracks.

4:11 p.m. - Caller brought a dog to the Sweet Home Police Department from 22nd and Long. Dog placed in kennel and later released to owner.

5:24 p.m. - Jason Alan Hainline, 37, arrested on Linn County supervisory warrant for probation violation on original charge of first-degree burglary and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, 3100 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

6:12 p.m. - Caller reported that someone keyed the rear driver’s side door in his vehicle, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Report taken.

7:43 p.m. - Caller reported that someone stole his tool box, worth $110, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Report taken.

March 25

1 a.m. - Theresa Christine Alberts, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and a new charge of possession of meth, Main and Clark Mill.

1:52 a.m. - Caller reported she was hit by a person in a vehicle on March 22, 12th and Long. Report taken.

9:18 a.m. - Caller reported trash cans blocking the sidewalk for the past three months, 600 block of Third. Referred to code enforcement.

11:03 a.m. - Caller reported that neighbors are moving back into a house, and he is afraid it is not safe to occupy, 1100 block of 46th. Referred to code enforcement.

11:29 a.m. - Andrea Joyce Ashby, 35, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of unauthorized departure, 23rd and Main. Cited and released.

12:22 p.m. - Caller found a small bottle with liquid in it in Lebanon and took it to Sweet Home Police Department to turn it in. Item seized.

12:42 p.m. - Robert Dean Whitton, 61, arrested on Marion County warrant for contempt of court and Sweet Home warrant for second-degree forgery, 1338 Poplar St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:47 p.m. - Caller reported juveniles breaking trees and hitting the bridge, Sankey Park. Officer contacted juveniles and counseled them about breaking branches and playing on the bridge. The bridge was undamaged.

5:15 p.m. - Jesse Lane Davis, 20, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 12th and Nandina.

6:58 p.m. - Caller reported some of her narcotic pain patches are missing, 1800 block of 20th. Report taken. Loss valued at $350.

7:05 p.m. - Caller brought a lost dog to the Police Department from Oak Terrace and Sixth. Dog placed in kennel.

7:57 p.m. - Two callers reported a female with a gun, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Another caller reported that a male took her BB gun. Officer responded, warned female for trespass and seized a BB gun for safekeeping.

8:23 p.m. - Skylar James Samson, 26, cited for failure to register vehicle, failure to display plates and driving while suspended, 15th and Main.

March 24

9:19 a.m. - Mehgan Nicole Dean, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Dallas. Cited and released.

9:22 a.m. - Caller reported that a bicycle was left in his front yard, 1100 block of Nandina. Bike placed in found property.

12:19 p.m. - Michael Austin Hurley, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 3200 block of Main. Cited and released.

1:07 p.m. - Caller reported that a sign was hit and fell onto a parked vehicle, 1700 block of Main. Report taken. Damage estimated at more than $1,500.

1:13 p.m. - Caller reported finding a skateboard, 1000 block of First. Skateboard placed in found property.

1:41 p.m. - Caller reported finding a check from 2009 and wanted to know if it was fraudulent, 1000 block of 14th. Information noted.

1:49 p.m. - Caller reported receiving a check that was possibly a scam, 3200 block of Main. Information noted.

1:56 p.m. - Caller reported that the door to a building was open, and the lock looked broken, 1300 block of 13th. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

4:31 p.m. - Sarah Kathern Rodgers, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief and failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5;05 p.m. - Marie Therese Ramos, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:11 p.m. - Juvenile male taken into protective custody for detox and referred for minor in possession of alcohol and drinking alcohol in a park, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park.

9:23 p.m. - Brandley Edward Amundsen, 35, arrested on Linn County supervisory warrant and Lebanon Justice Court warrant for probation violation and on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 42nd and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:36 p.m. - Caller reported that a female that was not supposed to be in the establishment just pushed her, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Report taken for harassment and criminal trespass.

March 23

12:29 p.m. - Daryle Wane Burns, 56, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 18th and railroad tracks.

2:33 p.m. - James Cary Fennell, 44, served on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Linn County Jail.

2:40 p.m. - Caller reported a male tried to steal his son’s bicycle, 4600 block of Main. Male left prior to officer arrival. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

4:26 p.m. - Caller reported people living in an RV parked in a driveway, 1100 block of Ninth. Referred to code enforcement.

4:29 p.m. - Caller reported a business operating without a permit, 2300 block of Harding. Referred to code enforcement.

4:39 p.m. - Caller reported the theft of an $800 stereo, 4100 block of Osage. Report taken.

6:10 p.m. - Caller reported a non-injury motor vehicle collision, 1100 block of 22nd. Officer contacted the parties involved in it. They exchanged information. Crash was caused by a brake malfunction.

March 22

11:14 a.m. - Caller reported that her grandson threw a rock and broke the windows in her vehicle, 800 block of Third. Report taken. Damage estimated at $500.

6:46 p.m. - Caller reported someone was using her identity to file taxes, 900 block of 23rd. Report taken.

8:33 p.m. - Ian Alan Nolan, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

March 21

5:17 a.m. - Caller reported a male was sleeping in the lobby, 1303 Long St., Sweet Home Post Office. Officer contacted and trespassed the male.

9:14 a.m. - Brandon John Cassidy Kirby, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Multnomah County. Cited and released.

12:35 p.m. - Caller reported a drug deal going on, 1200 block of Nandina. Information forwarded to detective.

1:08 p.m. - Kevin Harold Flowers, 55, arrested for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 3000 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:28 p.m. - Sirena Marie Patricio, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug.

5:49 p.m. - Jacob Mitchell Thurber, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to register as a sex offender, 1237 Nandina St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

6:49 p.m. - Darrell George Berrigan, 43, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

7:01 p.m. - Caller reported that someone stole her floor jack, 1100 block of 47th. Report taken.

8:14 p.m. - Two-vehicle injury crash, 2000 Main St. No citations. Both vehicles towed.

March 20

2:04 p.m. - Caller reported issues with a neighbor’s dog again, 2900 block of Harding. Officer did not witness any violations. The owner of the dog stated the owner is trying to find a new home for the dog. Officer counseled the owner.

2:35 p.m. - Leslie Michelle Gerard, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of offensive littering, and Landon Frank Gerard, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree criminal mischief, Medford. Cited and released.

2:51 p.m. - A Bi-Mart employee turned in a dog that was abandoned at Bi-Mart, 1980 Main St. Dog placed in kennel.

5:36 p.m. - Caller reported that her son came to her residence and urinated in the fuel tank of one of her vehicles, 1200 block of Laurel. Report taken for criminal mischief and criminal trespass.

8:06 p.m. - Paul William Kalina, 40, arrested for third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespass in connection to the previous call, 927 27th Ave. Cited and released.

9:46 p.m. - Caller reported a dog chasing and barking at people, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer contacted the owner and counseled him for his actions. The owner put the dog on a leash.

10:06 p.m. - Richard Guy Tagen, 27, arrested on Linn County supervisory warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

March 19

7;17 p.m. - Caller said the landlord entered the caller’s residence and took CDs and a heater, 29400 block of Highway 20. Report taken.

March 18

6:35 p.m. _ Quin Wise, 21, arrested for driving under the influence and careless driving in a crash, 38600 block of Highway 228.

March 17

2:38 p.m. - Caller said a man threw a laptop bag at her and left bruise, 28800 block of Highway 20. She said he had a knife and was high on methamphetamine. Deputies responded. The caller was there to get her things and the man was throwing them out of the camp trailer towards her. The suspect claimed he was just trying to get her property out of his trailer and did not intend to hit her. A deputy took a report and it will be forwarded to the district attorney for review of charges.

10:18 p.m. - Caller reported a fight between a husband and wife, 28500 block of Scott Mountain. Medics were sent for the woman, who was bleeding. The woman was intoxicated. The man left the scene before deputies arrived. The incident is still under investigation. The suspect could not be found. Report taken.

March 16

5:22 p.m. - Caller said his neighbor was a victim of identity theft. This was a scam. The identity thieves took the victim’s information and filed taxes under their name. The victim was working with the IRS and Linn County Sheriff’s Office took a report. It is unknown where the suspects were located, possibly out of the country.
