Fire destroys truck camper

A fire destroyed a camper, located with some stored manufactured homes behind Slip ‘n’ Snip, 4500 block of Main Street late Monday afternoon, April 18. Firefighters and police responded at about 5:43 p.m. Monday to a report of a fire at 4536 Main St., Slip ’n’ Snip scissors. They arrived to find a fully involved RV parked in a fenced area where unoccupied mobile homes are stored. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze preventing any damage to nearby structures. The Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District and Sweet Home Police Department are conducting a joint investigation of the fire’s cause. No injuries were reported.
