Alonzo Edward Fuller, 78, of Sweet Home died April 14, 2016.

He was born Jan. 30, 1938 in Castle Rock, Wash. to George Leslie and Alta Jennie (Melton) Fuller.

Mr. Fuller served in the United States Navy from June 15, 1956 to Sept. 8, 1966, receiving an honorable discharge. He received the National Defense Medal. He served as a Data Systems Tech 1st Class.

He was a member of the crew on the U.S.S. Long Beach CGN during Operation Sea Orbit as part of a Nuclear Task Force in 1964.

Mr. Fuller married Dorothy Arlene Hill in Longview, Wash. on Feb. 14, 1970.

He retired as a telecommunications specialist for Tri-State Generation and Transmission in Colorado.

Mr. Fuller is survived by his son, Marvin E. Fuller of Sweet Home; and brother David L. Fuller of Longview, Wash.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Arlene Fuller.

No services are planned.

Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
