New SHEDG president sees role as a chance to give back to community

Rachel Kittson-MaQatish cre-dits the Sweet Home community for the successes she has experienced over the years, and she says that’s what drives her as she volunteers as the Sweet Home Economic Development Group’s new president.
Kittson-MaQatish hasn’t had an easy life, but today, she is enjoying a successful career as a partner at the Morley Thomas Law Firm. Last week, the SHEDG Board of Directors named her president. She succeeds John Wittwer, who left the board following last month’s annual meeting.
She was a teen mom when she graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1989.
