Fair starts Wednesday with special offers each day

The Linn County Fair starts Wednesday, July 13, with special offers each day and nightly entertainment.

Members of the military get free admission opening day, July 13. Military ID is required for this benefit.

Thursday, seniors, 60 years old and older, get free general admission. Senior bingo starts at 11 a.m. and a senior ice cream social starts at 2 p.m.

Friday is family day, with a fair souvenir giveaway to the first 500 kids.

Saturday, enjoy a free classic car show in the park, starting at 10 a.m.

The family fun area will feature performances by clowns Coventry & Kaluza, Alaskan Racing Pigs and sterling the bubbLesmith.

Activities include pedal tractors, Puzzlemania, a bounce village, and petting zoo and pony rides. Visitors will also get a chance to pan for gold.

Cloverdayle will play on the main stage opening night.

Kellie Pickler is scheduled to perform Thursday.

ParmaLee headlines Friday.

Foghat will play Saturday night.
