Epifania S. Caspe, 84, of Foster, formerly of Albany, died Aug. 18, 2016.

She was born Sept. 21, 1931 in Santa Barbara, Iloilo, Philippines to Servillano and Feliciana (Sorongon) Solivas.

She lived in Santa Barbara, Iloilo; Cabatuan, Iloilo; Rizal and Antipolo, Philippines, then came to the United States in 1998 and lived in Philomath, moving to Albany in 2008 and finally to Foster in 2013.

Mrs. Caspe loved to go to church and hear mass. She was involved in religious volunteer work in the Philippines.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening and was a compulsive cleaner. She loved reading and taking care of her grandchildren and family.

Mrs. Caspe is survived by her husband, Jesus Caspe of Foster; children Alma and Loren Hilton of Albany, Lilibeth Engert of Oberlauda, Germany, Richard and Joy Caspe of Queens, N.Y., Mavelou and Chuck Belen of Singapore, and Premelyn and Carlos Celendro of Queens, N.Y.; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1965; her mother in 1978; and several siblings.

Memorial Mass will be at 11a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Albany.

Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
