Highway 20 crash

October 11, 2016

A Redmond man was cited Monday, Oct. 10, after his vehicle drifted across the center line on Highway 20 and hit an oncoming U.S. Corps of Engineers Ford SUV, Oregon State Police reported. According to police, Rocky Dwayne Grace, 56, of Redmond was headed east near milepost 34 when he failed to negotiate a curve and drifted directly into the path of Cameron Leslie Bishop, 38, of Eugene, who was westbound. According to a police report, Bishop tried to avoid Grace’s Hyundai, but the vehicles’ drivers sides collided, causing “extensive damage.” Grace was cited for failure to maintain lane. Both vehicles were removed from the scene by Lloyd Rice Towing.
