Jan. 16

2:46 a.m. - Amy Danielle Ward, 33, arrested for third-degree theft and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of resisting arrest, 1400 block of Tamarack. Cited and released.

10:43 a.m. - A caller reported a white van with a storage pod on top of it staying overnight at a business, 1200 block of 45th. Referred to code enforcement.

11:53 a.m. - Caller turned in keys found near the intersection of Highway 228 and First Avenue. Placed in found property.

Jan. 15

2:38 a.m. - Hunter Areil Ringheimer, 23, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of heroin, Lebanon warrants for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of minor in possession of alcohol and failure to appear on original charge of minor in possession of alcohol, Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of minor in possession of alcohol and new charges of possession of heroin and distribution of heroin, behind Downtown Lounge, 1234 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported two males siphoning fuel from a vehicle. Officer contacted a male who said he had permission to siphon fuel.

11:21 a.m. - Caller reported that a male stole items and left in a blue car, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

11:22 a.m. - Melinda Marie Phillips, 52, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, 2454 Long St. Cited and released.

4:11 p.m. - Oregon State Police arrested R.C. Phillips, 48, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft. Cited and released.

5:22 p.m. - Nathan Daniel Brown, 41, arrested for first-degree animal neglect, 4610 Main St. Cited and released. A caller had reported neighbors threatening the caller and throwing things at his house because he put his dead bird on the porch.

Jan. 14

1:15 a.m. - Ryan Logan Binks, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, McMinnville. Cited and released.

1:35 a.m. - Robert Lawrence Hayes, 51, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and cited for failure to yield, Fifth and Juniper. Cited and released.

2:38 a.m. - Kimberly Diane Brown, 27, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, and Kenneth Eugene Lane, 37, cited for giving false information to a police officer, driving uninsured, illegal display of license plate and failure to carry and present a license and arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation; Philomath warrant for failure to carry and present a license; and Lebanon warrant for second-degree disorderly conduct, menacing and second-degree theft, Spruce and 18th. Brown cited and released. Lane transported to Linn County Jail. Vehicle impounded.

11:21 a.m. - Billy Dye, 55, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1280 10th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:08 p.m. - Caller reported that a male was in his shed and ran off, 4100 block of Osage.

1:08 p.m. - Lebanon emergency room reported a male shot himself in the hand and leg, 1300 block of Long. Officer responded and determined that it was an accidental discharge.

2:26 p.m. - Justin Ray Gomez, 25, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of attempting to elude, driving under the influence and endangering another person and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Ames Creek Realty. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:40 p.m. - Kenneth Eugene Lane, 37, arrested for resisting arrest, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

8:33 p.m. - Jacob Manuel, 40, cited for driving uninsured.

8:47 p.m. - Bobby Raymond Helms Jr., 31, arrested for felony driving while suspended and cited for illegal display of plates, driving uninsured and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, 44th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail. Vehicle impounded. Plates seized.

Jan. 13

11:35 a.m. - Lynnette Irene Leslie, 38, cited for failure to carry registration, driving while suspended and failure to carry insurance, Clark Mill and Green River.

11:52 a.m. - Leslie Allen Stoddard, 54, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation, 3200 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:04 p.m. - Caller reported that someone left a sticky note asking the caller not to park in front of the person’s house, 900 block of Nandina. Officer contacted and advised the resident that it is a public roadway.

12:57 p.m. - Caller reported an Internet scam, 500 block of Oak Terrace. Information noted.

1:39 p.m. - Gary Louis Coomer, 44, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of fourth-degree assault and recklessly endangering another person, 910 13th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:52 p.m. - Caller reported that someone paid with counterfeit money, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken.

3:16 p.m. - Kimberly Ann Winney, 46, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of fourth-degree assault and for probation violation and cited for driving while suspended, 799 Long St.

3:49 p.m. - Caller reported people living in an RV, 4800 block of Highway 20. Vehicle posted for removal.

5:48 p.m. - Damon Card, 34, turned in himself on a Lincoln County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of assault, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

8:16 p.m. - Caller reported that a neighbor’s two dogs bark all day and night, 4600 block of Live Oak. Officer left business card for owner.

9:43 p.m. - Weston Donovan Thompson, 25, cited for driving while suspended and failure to yield, Eighteenth and Tamarack.

Jan. 12

12:33 a.m. - Brandon Ryan Freeman, 22, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of possession of meth (owed five days in jail), 2133 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:53 a.m. - Nicholas Scott Warren, 37, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation and charged with felon in possession of a weapon, 1101 13th Ave. Cited and released.

10:21 a.m. - Caller reported possible abuse of his cousins, Riggs Hill Road. Report taken.

11:12 a.m. - Michael Dashawn Ferebee, 37, arrested on Linn County warrants for unauthorized departure and failure to comply on original charge of first-degree burglary. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:59 a.m. - Caller reported receiving a phone call from a person claiming to have kidnapped his daughter and wanting to know how much he would pay in ransom, 1800 block of Ames Creek. Information noted. Caller was aware it was a scam. He had spoken with his daughters, who were fine.

2:02 p.m. - Caller reported that a vehicle backed into his vehicle, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Report taken.

6:13 p.m. - Caller reported his vehicle had been hit in the parking lot, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Report taken.

Jan. 11

4:51 a.m. - Debra Jean Massey (Stroud), 58, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

10:24 a.m. - Caller reported a travel trailer, with people living in it for more than a year, hooked up to a sewer, 1600 block of Elm. Referred to code enforcement.

12:21 p.m. - Caller reported that someone hacked his personal bank information, 1900 block of Main. Information noted.

12:57 p.m. - Caller reported that a neighbor allows a dog to run freely outside, 1700 block of Dogwood. Officer responded. Unknown where dog belongs.

1:02 p.m. - Gilbert Alonzo Martinez, 41, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of meth, 1900 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:08 p.m. - Tracie Lee Gates, 52, arrested for third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

2:10 p.m. - Malik Xavier Monyelle, 21, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender, 1400 block of Long.

2:24 a.m. - Caller reported six horses in the road about a half mile from Fairview Church on McDowell Creek Road. The owner was located within minutes, and deputies helped re-secure the horses.

2:41 p.m. - Caller reported that someone is continually dumping household garbage in the trash at Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. Officer contacted the owner of the garbage and warned the owner for theft of services.

4:44 p.m. - Michael John Hoffman, 44, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for second-degree criminal mischief, Linn County Jail.

5:54 p.m. - Caller reported a cougar in his backyard, 400 block of Maple. Officer unable to locate. Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife notified.

8:10 p.m. - Carrie Ann Giles, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on two original charges of second-degree criminal trespass. Cited and released.

10:09 p.m. - Shane Alan Douglas, 46, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for reckless driving, careless driving and possession of meth, 338 Ninth Ave.

10:21 p.m. - Kirsten Ann Stevenson, 27, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of distribution of heroin, possession of heroin and giving false information to a police officer and Lebanon warrant for probation violation on original charge of giving false information to a police officer, 42nd and Osage. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Jan. 10

3:20 a.m. - Kyle Alexander Richards, 23, arrested for two counts of third-degree theft, Sweet Home Sanitation. Cited and released.

8:36 a.m. - Breanna Marie Mansell, 23, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 15th and Kalmia. Cited and released.

9:02 a.m. - Jared Michael Elkins, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree criminal mischief, Multnomah County Jail.

9:50 a.m. - Juvenile female referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of alcohol, 1100 block of Fourth. Caller had reported finding a cup of alcohol in her daughter’s room.

12:50 p.m. - Paul Michael Peterson, 31, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on hit and run, Albany.

3:13 p.m. - Caller reported the theft of two chainsaws, 300 block of Seventh. Report taken. Loss valued at $2,000.

4:03 p.m. - William Lazard, 19, arrested for harassment, 4300 block of North River. He was released on Jan. 12 on condition of no contact with the victim.

Jan. 9

8:42 a.m. - Caller reported her debit card was stolen and being used to make transactions, 3200 block of Juniper. Information noted.

11:35 a.m. - Caller reported two large RVs parked on the street for a long period of time and plugged into electricity, 900 block of Elm. Officer posted a vehicle for tow and advised the registered owner.

11:55 a.m. - Caller reported a hit and run the previous day, 3400 block of Juniper. Report taken.

2:46 p.m. - Weston Donovan Thompson, 25, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 19th and Main.

3:19 p.m. - Dustin Kyle Coughran, 26, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of heroin and charged with second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree theft, two counts of second-degree criminal trespass, escape, possession of meth and possession of a restricted weapon, 1900 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

6:02 p.m. - Caller reported that her friend was attacked by a poodle and a wiener dog, 1600 block of Cedar. Officer unable to locate.

10:38 p.m. - Kyle Alexander Richards, 23, cited for no license, 1800 block of Long. Vehicle impounded.

11:43 p.m. - Caller reported two different thefts, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Total value of loss estimated at $25.

Jan. 8

5:20 a.m. - Caller requested that a male sleeping in the lobby be trespassed, 1303 Long St., Sweet Home Post Office. Officer trespassed the male, who moved on.

Jan. 6

11:17 a.m. - Caller from Linn County Parks Department reported 24-by-24 inch solar panels were stolen from a campground water well, Trout Creek Campground. Value is $500. Report taken.

5:30 p.m. - Nicholas Gaskey, 32, arrested for violation of a restraining order. A caller had said a man and woman were verbally fighting in a driveway, 30000 block of Fairview.

Jan. 5

10:24 a.m. - Caller contacted the Lebanon substation to report someone hit her mailbox, and a license plate was left behind by the person who hit it, 41200 block of McDowell Creek. Report taken.

12:46 p.m. - A caller said his mailbox was damaged by a vehicle hitting it, 41300 block of McDowell Creek. This is related to the incident at 10:24 a.m. Report taken.

Jan. 4

8:05 a.m. - Caller said a chestnut-colored horse was running around for approximately three days, 24800 block Springer Road. The caller did not know who the horse’s owner was. Deputies checked the area but were unable to find the horse. They left a card at a potential owner’s home but were unable to confirm if the horse belonged there.

2:28 p.m. - A 2004 Nissan Xterra was stolen within the last couple of days, 47400 block Santiam Highway. She had not gone out for the last three days because she had surgery. The vehicle was recovered the next day in Sweet Home.

3:53 p.m. - Jacob Manuel, 40, arrested for menacing, harassment and possession of meth. Court records show an additional charge of unlawful use of a weapon. A caller had reported a male physically assaulted a female then pulled a knife and threatened to kill her whole family, 27100 block of Rowell Hill.

9:38 p.m. - Kim Hartsock, 62, arrested for menacing. Court documents show an additional charge of unlawful use of a weapon. A caller had said he was hit in the head with a machete but declined medics, 28800 block of Weatherly.

10:45 p.m. - Caller said a white Ford Explorer with a light bar just hit his trash cans and took off heading toward Lebanon on Highway 20, 30400 block of Fairview. A deputy obtained the license plate and is looking for a suspect. Report taken.
