Polar Plunge

The Sweet Home Police Department had 31 local staff members, friends, family and one business owner who took the plunge, earning Sweet Home the Most Plungers Award. Sweet Home also raised the most funds of any team, $7,020. Overall the Corvallis Polar Plunge raised $57,358. Raising more than $1,000 from Sweet Home were Community Services Officer Gina Riley, eighth place; Officer Geoff Hamlin, $1,310, fourth place; and Mike Hall, owner of The Point Restaurant, $1,160, sixth place.
