Former Sweet Home woman injured in Spicer Road crash

Linn County deputies arrested an Albany man, and a former Sweet Home woman was badly injured in a crash on Spicer Road early Sunday morning.

At 2:49 a.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to 3725 Spicer Road for a report that a vehicle had crashed into a house.

Joshua Pairan, 33, of Albany was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, recklessly endangering another person, reckless driving, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree assault. He was lodged at the Linn County Jail.

Alcohol and excessive speed appear to be contributing factors to the crash, said Undersheriff...
