July 17

12:17 a.m. - John Cotta Teixeira, 74, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, Poverty Beach.

12:56 a.m. - David James Kamarec, 21, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s.

1:01 a.m. - Caller reported someone sleeping in a stairwell, 1000 block of 12th. Officer contacted a male subject and advised him to move along.

5:36 a.m. - Caller reported a bike stolen during the night, 500 block of Mountain View. Report taken.

July 16

8:38 a.m. - Caller reported a dog running loose, 1300 block of Quince. Officer unable to locate.

2:07 p.m. - Caller reported subjects camping overnight in Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. Officer contacted four subjects and advised them they cannot stay in the park overnight.

2:42 p.m. - Caller reported that a male drove into a ditch, walked around the vehicle, got back in and drove to Thriftway, Highway 20 in the eastbound Narrows. Vehicle gone upon officer arrival. Oregon State Police notified.

6:22 p.m. - Caller located a loose dog and brought it to the Police Department, 400 block of Highway 228. Placed in kennel.

7:12 p.m. - Caller reported that a customer turned in a backpack, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Backpack placed in found property.

7:19 p.m. - Richard F. Burnside, 26, cited and released in field on a Lebanon Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s.

7:57 p.m. - Billy Gene Seibert, 53, cited and released in field on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court.

8:04 p.m. - Bryce Taylor Keenon, 20, arrested for third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1203 Long St. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male stealing a tip jar from the counter.

10:32 p.m. - Caller reported a customer had a bicycle stolen, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $800.

11:37 p.m. - Caller reported meeting a female out of town and allowing her to stay for a couple of days, 300 block of 17th. She left a fifth-wheel at location, and the caller wanted to know her options. Officer advised the caller and took a report for second-degree criminal mischief.

July 15

6:54 a.m. - Caller reported a boat abandoned in the alley behind A&W. Vehicle towed as a hazard.

11:05 a.m. - Caller reported that a caregiver signed and cashed her checks, 2200 block of Main. Report taken.

11:36 a.m. - Michelle Diane Tonning, 39, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for possession of meth, 1300 block of 45th.

12:27 p.m. - Caller reported finding a syringe in a parking lot, 1200 block of Long. Seized for destruction.

1:08 p.m. - Shawn Stanley Pruitt, 44, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Cited and released.

3:16 p.m. - Caller reported a dog running around without a leash, Poverty Beach. Officer unable to locate a loose dog.

4:17 p.m. - Craig James Evans, 41, arrested on Philomath warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Cited and released. A caller had reported subjects picking a fight with him and that their dogs tried to attack him. Officer responded. Verbal disturbance with some reported to be physical. No evidence of a crime.

4:52 p.m. - Caller reported a male had violated a restraining order and had warrants, 1700 block of Fir. Male gone on arrival. Report taken for restraining order violation.

11:14 p.m. - Aaron David Ray Collins, 19, cited for no license, 2200 block of Long.

11:35 p.m. - Caller reported finding a lost dog, Long and 12th. Dog placed in kennel. Animal Control notified.

July 14

3:53 a.m. - Obed Pizarro, 30, served on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Quartzville.

10:04 a.m. - Wesley Jefferson Baxter, 46, cited for violating the posted speed limit, 6000 block of Main.

1:18 p.m. - Caller reported that a female appeared to be living in a U-Haul parked next to the Foster Post Office for about two weeks, 5300 block of Poplar. Officer contacted a female, who advised that she is having financial issues and is in between houses. She agreed to move the U-Haul off the property.

1:45 p.m. - Caller reported a strange ticking device sitting on top of a gas terminal, Airport and 47th. Officer contacted Northwest Natural, which advised that it was aware of the issue and working on fixing it.

6:59 p.m. - Brandy Lyn Parker, 35, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of driving while suspended and cited for driving while suspended and uninsured, Highway 228 and Fern Ridge. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

9:50 p.m. - Caller reported that a dog had been barking for approximately an hour, 800 block of 9th. Officer unable to locate barking dog.

10:09 p.m. - Andrew Benton Erickson, 46, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 12th and Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:23 p.m. - Zachary Guy Richmond, 24, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and probation violation on original charges of distribution of meth and identity theft; and Skylar James Samson, 27, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of unauthorized departure, 2301 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

July 13

2:51 a.m. - Officer located a vehicle reported stolen from Albany, Pleasant Valley Boat Ramp. Report taken.

7:18 a.m. - Elisha Marie Adams,36, arrested on state warrant for parole violation on original charge of smuggling and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, 500 Ironwood St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:50 a.m. - Caller reported a bicycle was left at Clover Park. Placed in found property.

10:24 a.m. - Caller reported that her computer was hacked and whoever did it was able to get her phone number, 1300 block of Westwood. Information noted.

10:37 a.m. - Caller reported that a brush collection pile at a vacant lot needed to be removed and that the grass was too tall, 1900 block of 18th. Referred to code enforcement.

10:51 a.m. - Jaycee Ryan McClurg, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge misdemeanor driving while suspended, Linn County.

11:01 a.m. - Evalee Lynn Duncan, 48, cited for dog as a public nuisance, Main and 46th. Police had responded to a collision between a loaded log truck and a small vehicle. The drivers of the vehicles were attempting to avoid a dog when the crash occurred. No injuries.

11:03 a.m. - Caller reported that a neighbor constantly lets her dog run loose and it charged the caller, 1200 block of 23rd. Officer contacted the owner, advised her of the complaint and warned her for dog at large. The dog did not appear aggressive.

11:14 a.m. - Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog barks constantly, 400 block of 5th. Officer contacted the owner and advised the owner of the complaint. The owner advised that the owner would try to keep the dog quiet.

12:45 p.m. - Caller reported that children were setting things on fire, Northside Park. Officer contacted the juveniles and planned to attempt to advise their parents.

1:21 p.m. - Caller reported that a male was lying in the middle of the roadway, 1300 block of Main in an alleyway. Officer contacted the male, who said he was just taking a nap until his friends arrived. Male agreed to move out of the roadway.

2:47 p.m. - Caller reported a shoplifter, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $74.73.

3:52 p.m. - Caller found a brand new pair of Nike shoes on the curb by her house, 40th and Osage. Placed in found property.

4:34 p.m. - Caller reported that someone got fuel and then drove away, 1306 Main St., Main Street Market. Report taken. Loss valued at $5.

5:07 p.m. - Caller reported that a male was passed out on the bus stop bench, 13th and Kalmia. Officer contacted the male, who was awake and sitting upon officer arrival. Male agreed to leave the area.

6:55 p.m. - Julia Rose Trietsch, 30, cited and released in field on a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of possession of less than an ounce of a controlled substance, 1280 10th Ave., Subway. Caller had reported that a woman came into the store asking for free food. When the caller refused, the woman charged at her.

11:32 p.m. - Caller reported a dog barking for several hours inside a small SUV, 1200 block of 44th. Officer contacted a female who was in the vehicle upon officer arrival, and the dogs were quiet. The female left the park.

July 12

12:23 a.m. - Tracy Lee Randolph, 38, cited for driving while suspended, end of Vine Street.

10:25 a.m. - Caller reported a stroller stolen, 1200 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $480.

12:23 p.m. - Caller reported a dog in a motor home in the parking lot, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. The caller was concerned because the windows were not open. Officer contacted the owner of the motor home, who was inside the motor home with the dog. Officer found no reason to be concerned for the dog.

12:43 p.m. - Caller reported a dog was left in a vehicle with the windows barely rolled down, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Officer checked area but vehicle was gone upon arrival.

1:05 p.m. - Caller reported a theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. The caller said the thief left in a red Grand Am. Report taken.

2:17 p.m. - Caller reported a red four-door vehicle parked for an extended period with a dog inside, and the caller felt it was too warm even though all four windows were rolled down, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Officer responded. Caller advised that the vehicle left prior to officer arrival.

2:54 p.m. - Caller reported a boat parked for an extended period of time, Manzanita and 46th. Officer left message at the residence where he believed the owner lives.

2:58 p.m. - Caller reported tall weeds and grass, 300 block of Taylor Creek. Referred to code enforcement.

4:43 p.m. - Caller found a set of keys in the middle of the street, 1st Avenue. Placed in found property.

5:02 p.m. - Tanise Lorene Ebert, 26, arrested for fourth-degree assault, and Matthew Allen Pitts, 28, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Ebert cited and released. Caller had reported an ex-girlfriend causing a disturbance and fighting with another female.

8:19 p.m. - Caller found a stray dog that had almost been hit multiple times, 400 block of 8th. Dog released to owner. Owner warned for dog as a public nuisance.

10:04 p.m. - Caller reported a bicycle stolen, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Report taken. Loss valued at $180.

July 11

12:14 a.m. - Linn County Sheriff’s Office reported a death, 2200 block of Main. Report taken.

1:39 a.m. - Caller reported a burglary and theft, 6305 Main St., The Point Restaurant. Report taken. Loss valued at $6,000.

8:11 a.m. - Caller reported that a neighbor built a shed too close to the fence, 4600 block of Mimosa. Referred to code enforcement.

8:46 a.m. - Caller reported that someone may have been living in a U-Haul that had been parked for several days, 1600 block of 53rd. Officer contacted a female who advised she was visiting, but dogs were not allowed. As a result her daughter was staying in the U-Haul with dogs. The officer advised her of the complaint, and the woman planned to get a hotel room.

9:18 a.m. - Caller reported a refrigerator and household items in a yard, 300 block of 7th. Referred to code enforcement.

9:19 a.m. - Caller reported persons living in a trailer, 300 block of 7th. Referred to code enforcement.

9:44 a.m. - Caller reported vacant lots with tall weeds, 300 block of Taylor Creek. Referred to code enforcement.

9:48 a.m. - Caller reported refrigerator and an old van beside a house for a prolonged period, 1000 block of Poplar. Referred to code enforcement.

11:10 a.m. - Caller reported that her ex-boyfriend was moving out and took the TV and Xbox One, 1000 block of 46th. Report taken.

11:13 a.m. - Caller reported that a customer had prescription medication stolen from a basket while he was shopping, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Officer responded. The victim did not wish to pursue charges but wanted the medication returned if located.

11:34 a.m. - Caller reported tall weeds and grass, 200 block of Main, 400 block of Main and 2200 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement officer.

12:38 p.m. - Isaac Philip Waugh, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of interfering with a police officer, Linn County. Cited and released.

2:36 p.m. - Caller turned in a key she found, 1200 block of Long. Placed in found property.

2:41 p.m. - Caller turned in a key he found, 40400 block of Highway 228. Placed in found property.

3:07 p.m. - Jennifer Lynn Harp, 44, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Jail.

3:10 p.m. - Caller reported 17 vehicles parked in a driveway, and most of them are inoperable, 4800 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

Leininger, 17, and Nathaniel Haans Vernon Jeppsen, 16, cited for failure to use seatbelt.

6:32 p.m. - Callers reported finding a dog, 4600 block of Main. Dog placed in kennel.

7:30 p.m. - James Robert Warrington, 38, arrested for contempt of court and offensive littering, 2000 block of Main. Cited and released. Caller had reported subjects sitting on a curb, drinking, and throwing cans in the bushes behind them.

9:20 p.m. - Amy Danielle Ward, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of aggravated harassment and resisting arrest, 12th and Nandina. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:33 p.m. - Caller reported a dog barking nonstop, 1300 block of Quince. Officer responded. No one answered the door.

July 10

8:28 a.m. - Caller reported a fawn stuck in a fence, 2400 block of Ames Creek. Officer responded and freed the animal.

10:19 a.m. - Caller reported a suspicious vehicle sitting at an abandoned house, 1800 block of Ulex. Officer responded, recovered a stolen vehicle and released it to the owner.

11:26 a.m. - Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog had been barking nonstop for approximately three hours, 47th and Live Oak. Referred to code enforcement.

11:36 a.m. - Caller reported a stray dog showed up at his house, 4400 block of Live Oak. Officer contacted the caller, who believed he knew who owned the dog and was willing to hold on to the dog until the owner could be reached.

1:25 p.m. - Callers reported tall grass and weeds, 45th and Kalmia, 400 block of 1st, 1100 43rd Ave. and 1160 45th Ave. Referred to code enforcement.

1:30 p.m. - Caller reported that a tree needed to be trimmed, 800 block of Terrace Lane. Referred to code enforcement.

2:24 p.m. - Caller reported a credit card left at Hoy’s Hardware, 3041 Main St. Placed in found property.

3:14 p.m. - Caller reported two tires were flattened.

3:26 p.m. - Elias James Severson, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Corvallis. Cited and released.

4:34 p.m. - Caller reported that someone tampered with a mailbox lock, 1200 block of 41st. Report taken.

4:39 p.m. - Caller reported that she was a victim in a computer scam, 1600 block of Fir. Information noted.

6:31 p.m. - Caller reported that a male was hit by his daughter with the door to a residence, 6200 block of Main. Report taken for domestic harassment.

6:54 p.m. - Michelle Kimberly Ray, 26, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 12th and Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:11 p.m. - Sherry Lynn Lacey, 48, arrested for harassment (domestic), 3137 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
