Husky defense puts clamps on Junction City in 39-0 win

Sweet Home’s defense made a statement Friday as the Huskies dominated Junction City, exiting their last regular-season home game with a 39-0 win.

The Tigers didn’t get into the red zone until their final derive of the game. Combine that defense with Colton Smith’s best passing game of the season and it was a runaway.

And it wasn’t just passing. Hayden McDonald got things started for the offense when he took an option pitch from Smith and raced down the sideline for 67 yards at the end of the first quarter, later capping off the drive with a two-yard touchdown run on fourth down....
