March 27 shooter pleads guilty to manslaughter

Trevor Paul Webb, 24, pleaded guilty last week to two charges stemming from a March 27 incident in which Ryan Chamberlain, 36, was shot and killed on north 13th Avenue in Sweet Home.

The plea came after a Dec. 8 settlement conference. Webb was initially charged with murder and felon in possession of a firearm. He pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and felon in possession of a firearm.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Dec. 15.

First-degree manslaughter is a Class A felony with a maximum 20-year prison term.
