Nearly 150 get shopping spree at Kids Free Christmas Store

Volunteers wrap gifts selected by young shoppers during the third annual Kids Free Christmas Store Saturday at the Evangelical Church.

Organizer Nancy Patton said 145 children took home 737 gifts for family members. Twenty-six volunteers helped the children and wrapped presents. One was Linda Jones, who helps Dutch Bros. delivered hot chocolate and the Oregon Jamboree donated two three-day passes as a fund-raiser, for which tickets were sold Saturday at the event, Patton said.
