Short-handed swimmers win meet over Philomath

NOAH DINSFRIEND swims to a personal best in the Individual Medley.

Even without their biggest guns, Sweet Home's had a good day Thursday, Jan. 11, defeating Philomath on both the boys and girls sides.

The meet was supposed to include Sisters, but the Outlaws could not make it, Coach Doug Peargin said.

"This turned out to be a dual meet, the first we've had in several weeks, and it went really well. Every swimmer on our team placed in at least one event for us."

Sweet Home was missing its club swimmers, who were at a meet in Washington, but they got wins from Ella Parker in the 200 Freestyle, Isabel Rodriguez in the 100 Backstroke, and Moira Curtis in the...
