Editor's note: Although this story originated in Lebanon, it's about an individual well known to Sweet Home wrestling participants and fans, so we're including it here.

Jim Phillips is no stranger to anyone who has any connection to the wrestling program at Sweet Home High School.

He's been a fixture on the mat for four decades, first as a coach for 16 years at Lebanon High, and then as a referee.
