SH woman sentenced to 37 months for role in alleged kidnapping case

Sabrina Marie Major, 35, of Sweet Home, has been sentenced to 37 months of prison for second-degree assault related to a case in which a man reported he was kidnapped on Oct. 2, 2017.

Charges of second-degree kidnapping and hindering prosecution were dismissed.

Corey Allen Dean, 43, of Albany, remains charged with second-degree kidnapping and second-degree criminal conspiracy to commit a Class B felony in connection with the incident. Dean is lodged at the Oregon State Penitentiary on a 2015 conviction for delivery of methamphetamine.
