EMERGENCY RESPONDERS work around the scene of a crash, reported at 12:10 p.m. Monday, June 18, in the 4100 block of Highway 20. An RV struck a bicyclist. The bicyclist, who was conscious and alert, was transported to the hospital by medics. No citations were issued. Further details were not available at press time.

June 18

1:38 a.m. - Timothy Loren Ames Jr., 29, arrested for third-degree theft, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Cited and released.

2:22 a.m. - Jeffrey Oliver Deffenbaugh, 55, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and possession of meth, Holley and Main. Cited and released.

June 17

9:12 a.m. - Caller reported that an ex was refusing to exchange a child for visitation, 1000 block of 12th. Officer responded. Unknown where ex and child were. Report taken.

2:05 p.m. - James Andrew Linder, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree theft, third-degree theft and third-degree escape, Salem.

2:40 p.m. - Ladonna Gayle Bales, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Eugene.

June 16

3:58 a.m. - Jaycee Ryan McClurg, 31, arrested on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Linn County.

9:29 a.m. - Caller reported a trespasser, 43000 block of Ames Creek.

4:07 p.m. - Wesley Shoemaker cited on Albany warrant for failure to appear on a trespassing charge, 60500 block of Highway 20.

5:44 p.m. - Deputy responded to a report of an injured fawn, 26600 block of Rowell Hill. Chintimini Wildlife Center agreed to take the fawn. Caller transported the fawn to Corvallis. Deputy assisted in loading the fawn.

7:09 p.m. - Vehicle reported stolen out of Corvallis was recovered, 28600 block of Highway 20. Caller had reported the vehicle being left in her yard.

8:40 p.m. - Carrie Rose Lee, 33, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 2200 block of Nandina. Cited and released.

9:02 p.m. - Caller reported a neighbor's dogs were barking, 1600 block of Cedar. Officer responded. Quiet upon arrival. Officer contacted an owner with just one dog.

10:03 p.m. - Brittny Ann Mahlee, 29, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, and Denise Lynn Salvador, 53, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of theft of service, 18th and Main. Salvador transported to Linn County Jail.

10:46 p.m. - Steven Scott Sims, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

June 15

12:01 a.m. - Obed Pizarro, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis. Cited and released.

8:20 a.m. - Caller reported a van parked in a fire zone all night and people were sleeping in it, 2400 block of Long. Officer contacted a male in the vehicle and advised him of the complaint.

8:54 a.m. - Todd Buddy James Waterman, 35, served by Marion County Jail on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended.

9:05 a.m. - Caller reported an assault, 43700 block of Wiley Creek. Report taken.

9:41 a.m. - Donna Ashley Claxton, 25, served on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass, harassment, two counts of second-degree disorderly conduct, two counts of second-degree theft, theft by deception and fourth-degree assault, Albany.

11:02 a.m. - Amanda Marie McDowell, 23, arrested for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released. Caller had reported pursuing a shoplifter.

11:13 a.m. - Caller reported a female stole items from her, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer contacted caller, who just wanted the information documented.

3:34 p.m. - Caller reported a female leaving in a new white car without paying for items, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

4:33 p.m. - Caller reported receiving a letter in the mail in violation of a restraining order, 1400 block of 40th. Report taken to be forwarded to the district attorney.

5:07 p.m. - Kristina Larizza Boswell, 32, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and illegal display of stickers, 1200 block of Long.

6:06 p.m. - Stephen Gregory, 52, arrested for probation violation and three failure to appear warrants, 49400 block of Quartzville.

6:42 p.m. - Caller reported that a female in a pink hoodie took two floral arrangements and left in a green four-door car, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $32.96.

9:12 p.m. - Theresa Marie Cross, 52, arrested for third-degree theft, 1246 Clark Mill Road. Cited and released.

10:13 p.m. - Caller reported that a dog barks every night, 1700 block of 53rd. Officer responded. Dog was still barking. Officer attempted to contact the owner.

June 14

2:24 a.m. - Bryce Taylor Keenon, 21, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth, first-degree forgery, first-degree possession of a forged instrument, unauthorized departure, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, identity theft and second-degree theft and Sweet Home warrants for second-degree theft, failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft; and Tyler Scott Price, 28, arrested on Marion County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of delivery of heroin and possession of meth, 12th and railroad tracks. Both transported to Linn County Jail. A caller had reported four kids walking down the street.

7:27 a.m. - Caller reported that a male had set up camp in the City Hall parking lot, 1140 12th Ave., City Hall. Officer contacted a male who agreed to gather his belongings and move on.

7:54 p.m. - Caller reported that a female stole approximately $450 from him, 1800 block of Fir. Report taken.

8:15 a.m. - Caller reported two large dogs running loose, 1700 block of Long. Officer contacted and warned the owner for dog at large. The owner was able to secure them.

10:02 a.m. - Single-vehicle crash, 28600 block of Highway 20. No injuries. No citations. Driver drifted off of the road for an unknown reason.

11:33 a.m. - Quentin Wyatt Quadros, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

1:15 p.m. - Stephen James Kidd, 30, arrested on Brownsville warrant for contempt of court, and Linda Evelene Kennedy, 27, arrested on Lebanon Justice Court warrant for probation violation and Lebanon warrants for contempt of court and probation violation and for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Both cited and released.

3:12 p.m. - Callers reported a non-injury crash, 300 block of W. Holley. Parties exchanged information.

6:24 p.m. - Caller reported a "no camping" sign and post missing, 29000 block of Highway 20. Report taken.

6:43 p.m. - Christopher Andrew Lee Hughlett, 28, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of carrying a concealed weapon and providing false information to a police officer, 8th and Dogwood.

7:03 p.m. - Caller reported her bicycle stolen and a knife lying in the yard, 200 block of Holley. Report taken. Loss valued at $25.

7:22 p.m. - Tianee Lee Levey, 21, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 2440 Long St.

8:34 p.m. - Tyson Derek Boren, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, Cornerstone Fellowship.

8:48 p.m. - Melissa Nicole Shreves, 31, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, All-Star Pizza. Cited and released.

10:03 p.m. - Caller reported that someone broke into her house and took items from a safe, 4000 block of Clark Mill. Investigation continuing.

10:08 p.m. - While patrolling around Foster Lake, a deputy located six vehicles and approximately 30 high school-aged children, 43900 block of North River. They had pulled into the turnout and were headed to the lake for a party. When the deputy pulled up, the group quickly dispersed. Deputy stayed in the area. No one returned.

10:55 p.m. - Timothy Tyrell Combs, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 43700 block of North River. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:04 p.m. - Caller reported that a neighbor was threatening to shoot her for putting a voodoo spell on her daughter, 4200 block of Long. Officer responded and mediated. Neighbor was intoxicated, and friends were there to calm her down.

June 13

9:03 a.m. - Teresa Kai Ray, 29, cited for driving uninsured, 12th and Hawthorne.

9:11 a.m. - Caller found a house key hanging on her fence, 500 block of 9th. Placed in found property.

11:14 a.m. - Caller reported a package was delivered, but the caller never received it, 1500 block of 53rd. Report taken. Loss valued at $341.

11:41 a.m. - Caller reported a neighbor saw someone siphon fuel from her husband's truck, Wiley Creek park. Report taken. Loss valued at $3.50.

1 p.m. - Caller found a bike in her yard, 2200 block of Larch. Placed in found property.

1:51 p.m. - Caller reported a fence was cut, 1357 Pleasant Valley Road, Sweet Home Wastewater Treatment Plant. Report taken. Damage and value of stolen items valued at $255.

2:46 p.m. - Matthew Allen Pitts, 29, arrested for second-degree robbery, Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of first-degree arson and failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment and Lebanon warrants for contempt of court and probation violation and failure to appear on a criminal citation, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Caller had reported a male shoplifter pulling a knife on him when confronted.

3:50 p.m. - Caller reported a homeless camp by the river, Northside Park. Officer contacted a male, who moved along.

4:20 p.m. - Caller reported a truck with rotting furniture in the bed parked for more than a month, 1200 block of Evergreen. Officer contacted residents. The vehicle belongs to a former roommate. The residents agreed to call and have it moved.

7:54 p.m. - Joey Dawayne Persinger, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and state warrant for parole violation, 2270 Long St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:46 p.m. - Caller reported a group at the skate park being loud. Officer advised the group of park hours.

10:23 p.m. - James Anthony Pruitt, 34, arrested on Linn County warrants for four counts of possession of meth, unlawful use of a weapon and first-degree criminal trespass and a new charge of misdemeanor possession of meth; and Monte Dale Lee, 46, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of driving while suspended, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Pruitt transported to Linn County Jail.

June 12

9:04 a.m. - Ruth Gaynelle Robbins, 45, turned in herself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

10:19 a.m. - A 14-year-old juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for fourth-degree assault and recklessly endangering another person, 1800 block of Ulex.

10:25 a.m. - Caller reported that a male took items and dropped them outside, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller requested he be trespassed if located.

12:48 p.m. - Joshua Scott Dawson, 39, arrested for first-degree criminal trespass on private forest property, Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of menacing and failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 26900 block of Greenville Road. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:37 p.m. - Jason Riley Beasley, 44, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

4:18 p.m. - Caller reported an assault, 28400 block of Liberty. Report taken.

5:15 p.m. - Joshua Scott Dawson, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County. Cited and released.

6:36 p.m. - Caller reported a male leaving with a basket of groceries, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

7:53 p.m. - Caller reported a neighbor found a syringe in her backyard, 1800 block of Yucca. Officer seized and disposed of syringe. Two backpacks seized as found property.

8:21 p.m. - Caller reported a vehicle hit, 35th and Kalmia. Report taken. Damage estimated at $500.

June 11

7:59 a.m. - Samantha Ann Horner, 25, cited for driving uninsured, 40th and Main.

9:05 a.m. - Caller reported someone sleeping on Weddle Bridge, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Officer contacted a female and warned her for sleeping in the park. She agreed to pack up her belongings and leave the area.

10:13 a.m. - Linn County Jail served a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended on Kristopher Ray Moak, 32.

2:49 p.m. - Caller reported plywood stolen, 1800 block of Tamarack St. Information noted.

4:05 p..m. - Tami Jeneca Smith, 51, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Albany.

4:06 p.m. - Caller reported solar lights stolen, 4200 block of Osage. Information noted.

5:47 p.m. - Caller reported a male seen on video stealing wine and beer, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

6:43 p.m. - Caller found needles, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Seized for destruction.

7:52 p.m. - Nicholas Scott Warren, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation and Lincoln County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft and failure to appear and a new charge of third-degree theft, 1118 Main St.

9:36 p.m. - Jeffrey Louis Wodtli, 55, arrested for harassment (domestic violence), 221 18th Ave. Cited and released. Caller had reported his father-in-law was intoxicated and assaulted his girlfriend.
