Girls suffer 3-1 soccer loss to Sisters

Injury-plagued Huskies lost Thursday evening 3-1 at home against Sisters in girls soccer.

“That first half actually was really good,” said Coach Ramiro Santana. “We did all right. We stayed with them.”

Sisters scored goals in minutes 12 and 25 to take a 2-0 halftime lead.

Natalie Rodgers knocked in a long shot six minutes into the second half to make the score 2-1.

“It was pretty far away,” Santana said. “Kate Hawken gave her the pass,” and Rodgers shot it from the left near the middle of the field, a long kick over the goalie.
