Hospital program helps participants learn to control pain naturally

Kari White says she's an introvert due to chronic pain from fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, restless leg syndrome, and Renaud's Syndrome, but a new physical therapy class in Lebanon is helping her deal with the pain and break out of her shell.

Explaining that her struggle with chronic pain "chips away" at her, White, of Sweet Home, said some days she can't even tolerate a hug, but techniques from the class are teaching her how to breathe through each moment.
