Tonya Verlee Hutson, 64, of Sweet Home died Jan. 16, 2019.
She was born Sept. 19, 1954 in Lebanon to Richard Wallace and Janet (Davis) Thill.
She lived in Sweet Home, and in Hoonah, Kake and Sitka, Alaska.
Mrs. Hutson retired as a pharmacy technician at Grove's Pharmacy. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandma and great-grandma.
She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, board games, cruising in the car with the tunes on, and shopping. She loved bird watching, watching TV and movies, talking on the phone and spending time with family. She was an animal lover and loved her dogs.
Mrs. Hutson is survived by her husband, Steven LeRoy Hutson of Sweet Home; daughter Anglena Moore-Kelly of Roseburg; son Jeromy Moore of Sweet Home; sister Suzi Jordan of Sweet Home; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and niece Brandi Bate, along with many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Wallace and Janet Thill; sister Brenda Thill; and granddaughter Taylor Holley.
A celebration of life is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Sweet Home VFW.
