Huskies post some big performances on Junction City track and field

Sweet Home's track and field athletes battled the elements – rain mainly, at the Junction City Invitational Saturday, but came away with some big performances.

Senior Noah Dinsfriend won both hurdles races and sophomore Tristan Calkins won the long jump with a leap of 21-4, a 10-inch PR and tops in the state 4A Division standings for a few hours, until senior Garrett Phelps leaped 21-9½ in a different meet later in the day.
