Goodbye to Old Sankey Restrooms

Tommy Robey of the Sweet Home Public Works Department tears down the old restrooms at Sankey Park Thursday afternoon. All hands at Public Works were on deck, preparing the buildings for demolition. With help from City Councilor Dave Trask, the crew also spread dirt composted from chipped wood and leaves collected from residences across town last fall on the lawn. The crew finished removing the building foundations Friday. The city installed a new restroom early this year.
