Lloyd Edward Mutinsky, 81, of Sweet Home died Sept. 28, 2019 at an Albany nursing home.

He was born Feb. 10, 1938 in Chicago, Ill., the son of Edward J. and Helen Rosemary (Svarc) Mutinsky. He moved from Chicago in 1944 to San Leandro, Calif. He lived in the Bay Area until moving to Sweet Home in the fall of 1975. 

Mr. Mutinsky served in the California Air National Guard. He was a news photographer for the Oakland Tribune, then was a court reporter for Lane County Circuit Court from 1975 until retirement. 

He enjoyed photography, taking photos at weddings, the Oregon Jamboree and square dancing conventions. He loved square dancing, and belonged to the Single Trees and Squarenaders.

He also enjoyed white water rafting and was a fan of Mason Williams and Ken Kesey. He attended Community Chapel in Sweet Home.

He is survived by two cousins, Phyllis Wilson of Texas and Joe Kotlar of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

No service are planned at this time. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
