Huskies improve against Stayton in girls soccer

The Huskies made a significantly better showing against Stayton last week in girls soccer while on their way to a 4-1 loss at home.

The last time the two teams played each other, the Huskies lost 8-0.

The Huskies held off Stayton for 30 minutes, said Coach Ramiro Santana, "until we had a penalty kick."

Stayton scored the first goal of the game and managed to score two quick goals before halftime.

"The whole second half, we played good," Santana said. "It's probably one fo the best games we have played in this year. They didn't beat us at all when it comes to playing the ball."
