The Huskies extended their win streak in boys basketball last week with victories at home against Molalla, 77-65, on Friday and at Tillamook, 61-44, on Dec. 17.

The Huskies started out back and forth with Molalla, Coach Drew Emmert said. They tied the first quarter 26-26. The Huskies built a lead in the second, but Molalla rallied to within a point, 43-42, by halftime.

"They shot really well in the first half," Emmert said. Molalla had a lot of threes, and the Huskies didn't defend well.

The Huskies built their win in the third, outscoring Molalla by 10 to lead 66-55.
