Jan. 27

6:03 a.m. - Caller reported fuel siphoned from multiple vehicles and a fuel line possibly cut, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Loss valued at $60.

6:45 a.m. - Caller reported a bag of cans stolen, 400 block of Oak Terrace. Report taken. Loss valued at $30.

Jan. 26

1:01 a.m. - Darren Wade Botts, 53, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to report as a sex offender, 1500 block of Main. Cited and released.

9:31 a.m. - Caller reported a dog running at large, 1900 block of Long. Dog returned home. Owner warned for dog at large.

10:32 a.m. - Caller reported he had a couple of bags of cans stolen during the night, 400 block of Oak Terrace. Report taken. Loss valued at about $40.

2:04 p.m. - Caller reported that someone broke into his RV, 4199 Main St., Storage Depot. The incident occurred between December 2018 and Jan. 26. Information noted at the caller’s request.

2:07 p.m. - Caller reported someone broke into Crawfordsville School, 38400 block of Glass Street. Nothing damaged or stolen, but items were thrown on the ground and counters. Report taken.

2:55 p.m. - Caller reported that someone broke into his RV, 4199 Main St., Storage Depot. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.

3:57 p.m. - Jeremy Gross, 32, arrested for possession of meth and Lebanon warrant for probation violation, 1306 Main St., Chevron. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male did not have enough money to pay for fuel. Officer responded and advised parties of options. Drug detection dog alerted to a motor home.

4:42 p.m. - Eileen Kane, 36, cited for permitting dangerous operation of an ATV, Mountain View and Elm. Caller had reported two juveniles riding a quad and dirt bike on the roadway.

6:12 p.m. - Randy Dale Ensley, 56, arrested for menacing (domestic violence), first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal trespass and criminal driving while suspended, 600 block of 8th. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male breaking out the windows of her vehicle and shooting at her house.

7:36 p.m. - Amanda Dawn Teoli, 43, cited for no license, failure to register vehicle and failure to carry current proof of insurance, 3100 block of Main.

7:56 p.m. - Caller reported duct tape with obscenities written on it was put on her vehicle, 800 block of 5th. Information noted, with extra patrol as time allows.

8:40 p.m. - Randy Dale Ensley, 56, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of failure to perform the duties of a driver when property is damaged, 1100 block of 48th. Cited and released.

8:58 p.m. - Caller found a bicycle in a ditch, 18th and Vine. Bike placed in found property.

Jan. 25

12:55 a.m. - Austin Ryan Richards, 26, arrested for resisting arrest, third-degree escape, Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of forgery and Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 2405 Main St., 7-Eleven. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:26 a.m. - Multiple callers reported hearing people arguing and then a gun shot, 700 block of Long. Officer contacted residents who stated a dog was attacking a cat on their property. A resident threw a firecracker at the dog to chase it off. Officer to follow up with the owner of the dog.

3:40a.m. - Richard Guy Tagen, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Lebanon.

5:11 a.m. - Caller reported a glass door broken, 3037 Main St., Farmer’s Insurance. Report taken. Loss valued at $600.

5:40 a.m. - Officer located a business with a broken window and glass door, 3103 Main St. Report taken. Loss valued at $600.

8:13 a.m. - Caller reported someone entered her vehicle and took a wallet, 1800 block of 18th. Report taken. Loss valued at $69.

10:06 a.m. - Caller reported her bicycle was taken during the morning, 1400 block of Nandina. If located, the caller wanted the bicycle back. Officer located the bicycle and returned it to the caller.

1:35 p.m. - Caller reported his girlfriend assaulted him, 28700 block of Liberty. Investigation continuing.

3:35 p.m. - Caller brought in multiple items left at Bi-Mart, 1980 Main St. Placed in found property.

3:49 p.m. - Caller heard two dogs fighting earlier in the day then heard what sounded like an air rifle, 4500 block of Airport Road. The caller then witnessed a female grab a long hammer and then a dog whimper and cry. Officer spoke with the owner of the dog. The owner said his dog and a friend’s dog got into a fight that morning. His dog was injured and was currently in a kennel with facial injuries. The caller possibly heard the owner medicating his dog.

3:57 p.m. - Officer located a Honda Civic that had been abandoned, 47th and railroad. Report taken.

3:59 p.m. - Caller witnessed a female who had been trespassed on his property, 1100 block of 24th. Report taken to be forwarded to city attorney for review.

4:17 p.m. - Caller reported she was assaulted during the night by her ex-boyfriend, Clark Mill and railroad tracks. Report taken.

4:49 p.m. - Aaron Coates, 36, cited for failure to provide proof of insurance, 100 block of 8th.

5:31 p.m. - Caller reported a female had been parked in location for the previous three days, 700 block of 8th. Earlier in the day, she had squatted inside the vehicle and then threw liquid outside on the ground. Officer contacted the female and advised her of the complaint. She was to leave that night.

7:28 p.m. - Matthew Timothy Cook, 26, arrested on Linn County warrant for unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, pointing a firearm at another person and recklessly endangering another person, 1118 Main St.

7:47 p.m. - A 17-year-old referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of alcohol, 800 block of 8th.

8:39 p.m. - A driver got lost on private timber land and was locked behind a gate, 43400 block of Ames Creek. Deputy responded and unlocked the gate.

Jan. 24

12:32 a.m. - Caller reported a glass door had been broken, 1000 block of Main. Report taken for criminal mischief.

9:20 a.m. - Caller reported finding drug paraphernalia in her son’s room, 2400 block of Long. Seized for destruction.

11:28 a.m. - Davy Anthony Phillips, 47, turned himself in on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree forgery, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

3:19 p.m. - Caller reported a group of five homeless persons with two females involved in a physical altercation, 1530 Main St., old Santiam Drug. Officer contacted a male and two females, who denied the altercation. Officer advised them to move along.

3:43 p.m. - Marilyn Junet Crosiar, 57, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon.

3:48 p.m. - Caller reported a male left without paying, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $88.

4:59 p.m. - Joshua Casey Waddell, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

6:39 p.m. - Caller reported a male without a shirt lying by the entrance, 2440 Long St., Cascade Village. Male given a courtesy ride to the Senior Center to catch a bus.

8:05 p.m. - Brandi Lea Simmons, 24, and Gary Richard Pinks, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for animal abandonment, 2400 block of Main. Both cited and released.

Jan. 23

3:16 a.m. - Lawrence Lee Jones, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of criminal driving while suspended, Albany.

4:07 a.m. - Cody Peterson, 33, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, west of city limits on Highway 20. Cited and released.

11:17 a.m. - Aaron Lee Riley, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Eugene.

2:10 p.m. - Caller reported she came home and a motor home was parked alongside her house, 1800 block of 12th. Unknown if someone is living in it. Referred to code enforcement.

2:23 p.m. - Caller reported that someone backed into his vehicle and left, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.

2:37 p.m. - Deputy responded to a residential burglary, 41100 block of Highway 228. Nothing stolen. Report taken.

4:04 p.m. - Caller reported two transients camped out, 100 block of Main. Officer trespassed both from the location.

6:30 p.m. - Kaytlin Michelle Hurt, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, Coos County.

7:38 p.m. - Caller reported a male crashed a bicycle into a stop sign and was not moving, Main and Clark Mill. Medics transported the male to hospital. Police officer stored the bicycle for safekeeping.

11:47 p.m. - Caller reported dogs barking, 1400 block of Nandina. Officer located the residence where the dog was barking. Resident agreed to quiet the dogs.

Jan. 22

12:33 a.m. - Rebecca Long, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Main and 23rd. Cited and released.

9:54 a.m. - Jeremy Michael Hicks, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

1:51 p.m. - Caller reported locating needles outside, 4400 block of Main. Officer disposed of them.

4:43 p.m. - Caller turned in a dog that had run into his house, 1900 block of Long. Dog placed in kennel.

5:32 p.m. - Caller found a dog, 1200 block of 55th. Dog placed in kennel. Photo posted to community Facebook page.

8:16 p.m. - Caller reported a neighbor’s dog barking for the previous two hours, 1100 block of Ironwood. Officer responded and heard dogs barking at two different houses. Officer unable to contact residents at either house. He planned to attempt contact later if it remained an issue.

11:33 p.m. - Caller reported her boyfriend hit her and then left, 1600 block of Main. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

Jan. 21

1:58 a.m. - Officer located a mailbox broken off of its stand, 1800 block of Ames Creek. Officer left mail on the front porch of the residence and a business card for contact.

3:47 a.m. - Caller reported a subject burning garbage in the backyard with no access to water, 1400 block of 22nd. Subject counseled and warned for burning garbage.

10:45 a.m. - Caller reported a motor home parked on the sidewalk, 1200 block of 46th. Officer contacted the owner, who agreed to move it the following week.

11:15 a.m. - Eric Anthony Kurz, 34, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Main and 53rd.

12:19 p.m. - Mark Aaron Lamb, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of reckless driving, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

12:52 p.m. - David James Kamerec, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charges of third-degree theft, first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree burglary and on state warrant for parole violation, 54th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:57 p.m. - William Nicholas Holstein, 51, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of coercion, strangulation and fourth-degree assault, 4900 block of Osage. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:59 p.m. - Caller reported two large dogs running into traffic, 10th and Main. Officer unable to locate.

3:17 p.m. - Joshua Scott Dawson, 41, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

4:29 p.m. - Caller reported that someone may have broken into her house, 1400 block of Nandina. Report taken.

6:56 p.m. - Gage Conklin, 19, cited for driving while suspended, 900 block of Oak Terrace.

7:20 p.m. - Stacy Mortenson, 49, cited for driving while suspended, 12th and Main.

9:11 p.m. - Joshua Hughes, 17, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1400 block of Long.

9:28 p.m. - Samuel Ayers, 21, cited for driving while suspended, Maple off 49th.

Jan. 20

8:48 a.m. - Caller reported that someone changed his information on his Google, PayPal and Amazon accounts and made an unauthorized purchase using PayPal, 28000 block of Fern Ridge. Report taken.

10:17 a.m. - Caller reported siding stolen, 2331 Main St., Full Gospel Church. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,000 to $1,200.

3:20 p.m. - Caller reported her husband grabbed her wrist and twisted her arm behind her back, leaving bruises, 4100 block of Main. Report taken for harassment (domestic violence).

9:31 p.m. - Ryan Joseph Hutchinson, 31, cited and released on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, Wiley Creek Park.
