Huskies post plenty of PR's in girls' win over Marist, Philomath, Salem Academy

In their most competitive home meet of the season Friday, Jan. 24, Sweet Home's swimmers responded with a slew of personal bests – 23 of them from 13 individual swimmers.

Hosting Marist, Philomath and Salem Academy, the girls finished first – with nearly double the points of second-place Marist, while the boys finished fourth.

"We swam well again," Head Coach Doug Peargin said.

He said the Huskies are working to zero in on which events would be the best fit for their swimmers as they approach the district meet on Feb. 14-15.

PRs came from Hailey Armendariz (200 and 500 Freestyles),...
