The New Era - All about Sweet Home since 1929

Medics and firefighters carry an 83-year-old man to a waiting ambulance following a single-vehicle crash on Marks Ridge Drive Thursday evening. The Toyota Highlander, driven by Earl Lowry was headed west on Marks Ridge Drive. Just past Jones Road, the vehicle got close tot he edge of the road and then slowly rolled down the embankment, landing on its roof, according to Linn County Sheriff's Office records. Lowry was transported by ambulance to Samaritan Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. Lowry had no passengers, and no citations were issued.
