May 10

1 a.m. - Christopher Eugene Montez, 47, cited on Sweet Home warrant for second-degree theft, Eugene.

7:03 a.m. - Hunter Ariel Ringheimer, 26, arrested for felony possession of heroin and state warrant for parole violation, 1500 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:34 p.m. - Caller reported a loose dog wandering in the area, 22nd and Long. Caller advised of COVID-19 precautions. Officers are not collecting loose dogs. Caller advised to contact Linn County Animal Control.

1:54 p.m. - A 16-year-old male taken into custody for harassment (domestic violence), 3100 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Juvenile Detention Center. Caller had reported her son son grabbing her arm and pushing her.

4:38 p.m. - Callers reported a motor vehicle collision, 10th and Main. Officer responded. Report taken. Parties exchanged information. Small pieces of debris were swept into the center lane and no longer a traffic hazard.

6:49 p..m. - Caller reported a vehicle ran into a stop sign then sped away, 46th and Mahogany. Report taken. Public Works advised.

6:54 p.m. - Caller reported a female became argumentative and pushed her, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken for harassment.

8:10 p.m. - Caller reported multiple nude people in the back of a van, 1000 block of Main. Officer responded and contacted two adults who were fully clothed. A child in the vehicle was not wearing a shirt but was otherwise clothed.

May 9

2:19 a.m. - Caller reported a vehicle parked near her residence with someone inside, 1300 block of 43rd. Officer contacted the owner, who was sleeping in the vehicle. The owner moved along.

11:13 a.m. - Caller found drug paraphernalia in front of residence, 1000 block of Mountain View. Officer seized it for destruction.

11:42 a.m. - Four drivers warned for parking in boat trailer spaces, 44500 block of Quartzville.

1:56 p.m. - Caller reported a burglary, 43000 block of North River.

2:11 p.m. - Caller reported a collision between a car and RV, 600 block of Main. Drivers exchanged information. RV operator experienced minor pain, and both drivers were evaluated by medics.

5:48 p.m. - Caller reported a male walking a dog on a leash when two dogs from a nearby residence attacked it. Unknown injuries. Caller was upset that the dog fight completely stopped traffic and wanted the owners counseled for dog at large. Officer unable to locate any dogs.

6:42 p.m. - David Michael Russell, 39, and Heather Nicole Matney, 26, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, Highway 20 milepost 34.

8 p.m. - Report taken for a group of people who trespassed on property with “no trespassing” signs, 27900 block of Fern Ridge.

8:07 p.m. - Etta Louise Holt, 55, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for probation violation and contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft, 1200 block of 23rd, Cascadia Village. Caller had reported neighbors arguing and one of them holding a baseball bat. Officer contacted involved parties. Mutual combat on either side. Reports taken for harassment.

10:55 p.m. - Caller reported littering in the woods, 45400 block of Wiley Creek Drive.

11:56 p.m. - Caller found an EBT card, 2400 block of Main. Card placed in found property.

May 8

2:17 a.m. - Aron Johan Van Dijk cited for driving while suspended, 1300 block of 43rd.

8:15 a.m. - Caller found a bag of syringes in roadway, 600 block of Mountain View. Officer seized and disposed of the syringes.

9:44 a.m. - Caller found a wallet and keys on the ground, 400 block of Main. Placed in found property. Message left with owner’s neighbor.

10:02 a.m. - Caller reported that a neighbor left several vulgar letters on the caller’s vehicle and screamed at the caller from the street, 4300 block of Citabria. Caller requested the information be noted. Caller advised to call back if there are further issues.

11:52 a.m. - Caller reported a male’s black Lab broke free, attempted to jump into her vehicle and attack her service animal, 1540 Main St.,Safeway. Caller requested that the male be conseled. Officer counseled him. He will keep his dog on a lead while in the area of Safeway.

3:03 p.m. - Caller reported a male subject just mooned customers in the parking lot and left on food, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer unable to locate the male.

4:42 p.m. - Charles Millus, 34, of Lebanon arrested for driving under the influence in a single-vehicle crash, 45600 block of Quartzville.

4:29 p.m. - Caller reported that he is missing a firearm, 500 block of 6th. Report taken.

4:32 p.m. - Caller reported a male leaving in a silver Suburu without paying for goods, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Loss valued at $53.98.

5:45 p.m. - Caller reported two adults leaving with a basket each without paying, 2414 Main St., Dollar Tree. Report taken.

6:03 p.m. - Caller reported a neighbor hammered very large nails into a shared fence, creating a hazard for the caller’s children, 1900 block of Willow. Officer contacted both parties. Neighbor will remove the nails.

6:48 p.m. - Donnie Ray Abbott, 65, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassing communication, 1200 block of 44th.

7:43 p.m. - Caller reported that while she was holding her baby, her husband pushed her to the ground, 1300 block of Fern Lane. Report taken. Non-mandatory arrest. Officer advised caller of options.

8:36 p..m. - Caller reported his son and son’s friend were approached by a male offering them candy and then following them home, 300 block of W. Holley Road. Officer contacted all parties. It was a joke that the kids did not get. Parent advised.

10:03 p.m. - Caller reported someone shot at her window with a BB gun, 2100 block of 18th. Report taken.

10:10 p.m. - Marcus Wesley Hesson, 48, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of failure to register as a sex offender, 300 W. Holley Road, Stonebrook Apartments. Transported to Linn County Jail.

May 7

1:22 p.m. - Caller reported a female walked out with a cart full of food, 1540 Main St. When the caller confronted her, she left the cart in the parking lot. Caller did not want to pursue charges but requested the female be trespassed when located. Female contacted and trespassed.

1:49 p.m. - Timothy Morgan, 18, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Caller had reported a male who was trespassed standing on the sidewalk pan handling. The male occasionally was going into the parking lot.

2:38 p.m. - Deputy patrolled ACE and BLM property on Quartzville Road to milepost 24. The area was very full and busy with campers on BLM property and fishermen on ACE property. Deputy located no one breaking the rules.

3:43 p.m. - Caller reported being scammed related to a firearm purchased via Internet, 1200 block of Nandina St. Report taken, and investigation continuing.

5:17 p.m. - Morgan Belcher, 26, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

5:30 p.m. - Caller reported her dog was attacked two weeks earlier, 300 Hwy. 228, Seventh-Day Adventist church. The caller did not report it then, but then the same dog attempted to attack her dog again. Officer contacted the caller and owner. They will handle it civilly.

6:41 p.m. - Caller reported a vehicle had been parked in the area for the past couple days, 12th and Poplar. Vehicle tagged for removal.

May 6

8:31 a.m. - Caller reported a money box taken during the night, 4691 Main St., Sweet Home RV Center. Report taken. Loss valued at $250.

2:03 p.m. - Caller found an abandoned bicycle, 1500 block of 13th. Placed in found property.

3:12 p.m. - Caller reported a male was camping on his property, and the caller wanted him trespassed, 1000 block of Long. Officer responded. The male was actually camped on a neighboring property and was not currently at location.

3:31 p.m. - Caller reported a vehicle sticking out into the street, making it difficult for cars to pass, 1200 block of Cessna. Officer contacted the owner, who agreed to move it at a later time.

4:37 p.m. - Caller reported a single-vehicle crash, 42700 block of Marks Ridge. Driver had minor injuries. Passenger was uninjured. Report taken.

5:14 p.m. - Caller reported that someone dumped medication and syringes in the garbage can, 1600 block of 18th. Items seized for destruction.

7:26 p.m. - Michelle Kimberly Ray, 29, cited for driving while suspended and arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of methamphetamine, 22nd and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

May 5

2:23 a.m. - Officer located a vehicle idling, 100 block of Main. Officer unable to reach a responsible person. Officer shut off and secured the vehicle then advised a responsible person via text message.

4:23 a.m. - Gina Rose Tonkin, 40, cited for driving while suspended, 49th and Main.

7:44 a.m. - Caller reported a male left a knife and food at the entrance to a building, 400 block of Highway 228. Male left location, and the caller thought he might have had blood on his shoes. Officer contacted people in the area. The male was unknown to them, but he had no signs of injury. Items collected as found property.

9:56 a.m. - Officer assisted with prescription delivery, 5100 block of Mountain Fir.

12:30 p.m. - Caller said she had video of kids entering her car during the night and pulling out everything, 1300 block of Poplar. Report taken. No theft. No damage.

3:28 p.m. - Mark Aaron Lamb, 44, turned himself in on Albany warrant for failure to comply, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in lobby.

4:05 p.m. - Darwyn Dwayne Thomas Reimann, 19, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of dissemination of an intimate image, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart.

4:44 p.m. - Kelee Joan Gatliff, 55, cited and released in field for first-degree aggravated theft and first-degree criminal mistreatment, 600 block of 8th.

7:05 p.m. - Lamar Lavonne Wilson, 30, cited for reckless driving, 53rd and Osage. Caller had reported a vehicle doing cookies in the intersection. The operator then got out and started dancing in the middle of the road.

May 4

8:31 a.m. - Honda Civic blocking the access gate on Wolf Creek Road, off 49000 block of Highway 20, towed as a hazard.

11:39 a.m. - Caller reported a vehicle parked on the street and covered with a tarp for six or seven days, 1400 block of 53rd. Officer responded. Unable to determine whether it was on public or private property. Officer took photos and will follow up with code enforcement.

1:23 p.m. - Vehicle posted for removal, 1400 block of 53rd.

2:59 p.m. - Caller reported his clothes were taken from the laundromat, 4824 Main St., Hilltop Market. Report taken. Loss valued at approximaely $150.
