Lauren Appollo Hesson, 77, of Sweet Home passed away June 6, 2020.

Lauren was born March 21, 1943 in San Diego, Calif., to Harold Oakland and Doris (Van Ormer) Hesson.
He came to Oregon in 1976, Sweet Home, Hillsboro, Portland and then returned to Sweet Home in 2017.
Lauren was the father of five. Loving, caring, endless giver of advice – wanted or unwanted. If needed, he would give you his last dollar.
Lover of all things internet, creative artist, mechanically inclined.
He also loved gardening, growing good things to nourish our bodies and souls.
He is survived by his children, Lisa Kittson, Trina Hesson, Kellie Hesson, Cindie Gibson and Marcus Hesson, all of Sweet Home; siblings Vesta Abel, Lorrie Guisto and Ariel McDowell; former spouse Charlotte Wilson of Sweet Home; grandchildren Richard Grajiola, Gabriel Grajiola, Alex Kittson, Ashlee Gibson, Ryan Roos, Star Boyd, Jolinda Mathis; and great-grandchildren Nevaeh, Emilio and Carmen Grajiola, and Emma Burt and Brylee Grajiola.
Lauren was preceded in death by his mom, Doris Hesson, in 1992; dad Harold Hesson in 1996; brother Wesley Hesson in 2006; sister Grace Hesson in 2007; granddaughter Angel Hesson in 1994; and great-grandson Gabriel Grajiola Jr. in 2009.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
