Dale Jenkins and Denise Armstrong have been elected to leadership positions in the local American Legion organization. Jenkins has been reinstated as Northern 3rd District Commander, a post he has held for four years. The district includes 15 posts in Linn, Benton, Lincoln and Lane counties. Armstrong has been elected adjutant for the 3rd District.
