Church members turn out to help family of young attendee

VOLUNTEER Scott Buckley wields a paint gun while Rick Herschberger provides backup as members of Freedom Hill Church help out a needy family in Tamarack Ridge last week.

Members of Freedom Hill Church joined forces last week to distribute a little Christian love to the family of a girl who attends their Sunday School.

They spent most of Thursday, July 2, painting a mobile home and cleaning up the property at Tamarack Ridge Estates.

"This was just a little girl who came to our church before COVID, when we had a kids program," said Leorah Burton, one of the volunteers. "We found out they needed help. We decided this is a good way we could help somebody."

Nine volunteers hauled away two loads of unneeded items, "cleaned everything up" and painted the struct...
