Joshua Kyle Phares

Joshua Kyle Phares succumbed to a long illness and passed from this life on July 5, 2020 at the OHSU Medical Center in Portland.  

He was born Jan. 4, 1982 at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.

He was a Class of 2000 graduate of Enid High School in Enid, Okla. 

His legacy lives on in survivors wife Kellie (Lizama) Phares of Sweet Home; daughter Alexi Phares of Portland; double dads Vinnie Phares and Darryl Duran, both of San Diego, Calif., mother Rhonda (Cornish) Joyner of Sweet Home; brothers Christopher Phares – with extended family Megan, Jackson, Parker, Natalie, and Trey of Sand Springs, Okla., and David Kinney of Sweet Home; sister Tazzi (Joyner) Horner with husband Dr. Patrick Horner of Buffalo Head, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

Joshua was a loving caring soul who put everything and everyone’s needs before his own. His heart was larger than life. He loved the outdoors, music, traveling the world and was a huge sports fan.

Due to the COVID pandemic, no services will be scheduled until time and conditions permit.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to your local food bank in support of the pandemic, or to help offset expenses  @Vinnie-Phares.
