The New Era - All about Sweet Home since 1929

Best in the West Events will hold its final socially distanced 5K cross-country run at starting at 5:45 p.m. p.m. Tuesday. Aug. 25, on the front 9 of Trysting Tree Golf Course in Corvallis.

The race will be the third in a series held on the final Tuesday of each month this summer at the golf course, 34028 NE Electric Road .

Cost is $20, which includes chip timing, a rolling start with sign-up times, one free beer or cider, five-year age groups in results (no age group prizes) and prizes for top three males and females overall and top masters athlete (45+).
