Fix parks during COVID shutdown

At the beginning of last month, city streets and distribution crews assisted with the installation of the new playground equipment at Sankey Park.

I understand the delay in getting this done was because the vendor didn’t have employees available sooner, due to the COVID issue. It’s been a month, and I went down to see how the rest of the installation was going and it doesn’t appear anything else has been done. The sparse and dying grass was being mowed by two employees (neither one was the parks crew leader) but that was it.

The lighting and in-ground watering systems? City crews have not missed time through the COVID issue; it would seem this would have been a wonderful opportunity to get these other issues done while the parks are not being used.
