12th Avenue resident Stan Tenbusch inspects downed lines that fell just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19 in the 800 block of 12th. Multiple callers reported the low-hanging lines, which prompted a response from police, fire and Public Works staffers. Comcast ended up coming to the rescue.

August 16

12:58 a.m. – Two 13-year-old juveniles at 18th and Long were referred to Linn County Juvenile department for curfew violation and transported home.

10:08 a.m. – Caller reported a physical disturbance, 1700 block of 13th, with one male injured and experiencing heart problems. Officer responded, report taken, male transported by medics. Bruce Irving Lavalley, 67, cited for menacing.

1:54 p.m. – Bend Police Department located Sheena Nicole Olson, 35, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of reckless driving.
