Although Labor Day Weekend numbers were unavailable at press time, initial indications were that, for the third week in a row, Linn County looked like it would be dipping below the 30-new-cases-per-100,000 population metric required to return K-3 students to classrooms. The limit for the rest of the student population is 10 cases per 100,000. These metrics have to be met for three weeks in a row for students to be allowed to attend class in person.
