Leone May Brown, 74, of Sweet Home died peacefully in her sleep Sept. 5, 2020.
She was born April 21, 1946 in Salem to Leonard Earl and Lilly Trieste (Nelson) Gainer.
From a young age Leone harbored a love for God’s creation and horses.
After graduating from Sweet Home High School and attending Oregon State University, Mrs. Brown acquired her first job at White’s Electronics and moved out into the country.
She soon purchased her own horse and went on to break horses. She also pursued photography in her spare time.
After raising a family of her own, she came to know Jesus and actively served in her church, at the God Mobile, and as a member of CMA.
Her family thanks God for the gift of her life and the blessing of the time spent with her.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her son, Larkin Brown of Lebanon; daughter Colene Bradley of Great Falls, Mont .; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Lauralee Reinhart; and parents.
A funeral service was held Monday, Sept. 14, at Crowfoot Baptist Church in Lebanon, with final burial at Maplewood Pioneer Cemetery in Scotts Mills.
